ULFIT
ULFIT is a HIFU device for the body from Classys; ask about depth, areas, and what the plan assumes about weight and lifestyle.
How it works
ULFIT is a high-intensity focused ultrasound device from Classys designed for the body. It directs ultrasound energy to the fat layer to create small heat zones, with the aim of reducing the thickness of localized fat and tightening the area. Sessions are planned by area, and results vary. It is not a method of weight loss.
Good to know
- Ask which cartridge depth is planned and how the area is mapped.
- Clarify the number of sessions and spacing.
- Discuss weight stability and lifestyle expectations with the doctor.
- Tenderness, bruising, swelling, and numbness may occur; nodules and burns are uncommon but possible.
Checking a ULFIT treatment before you book
Body HIFU is promoted heavily on some menus, so ask how the clinic describes realistic change and how it measures it. Measurements before and after are more informative than impressions.
Compare the number of shots, areas, and sessions across clinics, and confirm that the same device is being quoted each time.
ULFIT: common questions
Is it the same as face HIFU?
The principle is similar, but body devices use different cartridges and depths.
Does it hurt?
Discomfort varies. Ask how comfort will be managed.
Is it permanent?
Treated fat cells may be reduced, but remaining cells can still change with weight.
