Potenza

How it works

Potenza is a microneedle radiofrequency system made by Jeisys Medical and distributed by Cynosure in some markets. Fine needles penetrate the skin, and radiofrequency energy is released at a chosen depth to heat tissue while sparing the surface. The aim is to stimulate collagen remodeling for texture, scars, and pores. Results vary and often need a series of sessions.

Good to know

• Ask about needle depth, tip type, and whether the tips are single-use.
• Clarify the energy level and how it will be adjusted for different areas.
• Tell the doctor about isotretinoin use, keloid history, and active acne or infection.
• Redness, small pinpoint marks, and swelling are expected; pigment changes and scarring are less common but possible.

Checking a Potenza treatment before you book

Microneedle radiofrequency is a category with several competing devices, and Potenza is a name that appears often in Gangnam. Asking whether the clinic uses an original system and whether the tip cartridge is new for your session is straightforward and fair.

The treating doctor's choices matter here: depth, energy, and number of passes shape both comfort and outcome. Ask how those were decided for your skin.
