InMode Forma
InMode Forma is a bipolar RF device with temperature control; ask how temperature is monitored during your session.
How it works
InMode Forma uses bipolar radiofrequency with temperature feedback. Energy flows between electrodes in the handpiece, and sensors help keep the skin surface within a target temperature range during treatment. The intention is to warm tissue gently over a longer period to support tightening and skin quality. Individual results vary.
Good to know
- Ask about the target temperature range and how it is monitored.
- Clarify the number of sessions proposed and the spacing between them.
- Mention pregnancy, implants, and recent procedures to the doctor.
- Warmth, redness, and mild swelling are common; burns are uncommon but possible.
Checking a InMode Forma treatment before you book
Temperature control is a real feature of this design, so a clinic offering it should be able to describe what the readout shows. If the explanation stays general, ask the operator to walk you through a typical session.
Series-based treatments make the quote's structure important. Ask whether the total covers every session or only the first.
InMode Forma: common questions
Is Forma suitable for sensitive skin?
It is often described as gentle, but suitability depends on your skin and the doctor's assessment.
How many sessions are usual?
It varies by goal. A clear explanation of the reasoning matters more than the number.
What should I avoid afterward?
Follow the clinic's instructions, which often include sun protection and gentle skin care.
